WHO IS MADDIE?

Hi!

Hi! I’m Maddie Sheffer, MMFT, a Texan now living in Los Angeles.

I got my Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy from USC and I have been working, learning, & teaching about sexuality for the past 5 years while pursuing AASECT certification.

Through my education & being a therapist, I found that there was so much sexuality info that folx didn't have access to!

Folx of all genders, cultures, & identities deserve to understand their bodies & sexuality and ask questions they have always wanted to know the answers to without shame or judgment.

I always felt like I was stuck in between two generations, my experience didn't always align with what I was seeing from Millennials or Gen-Zers, this is modern sexuality for the Zillennial.

Through books, games, & media I'm sharing my knowledge of sexuality in a creative new way!

WHO IS ALEX?

Oh, hi! It’s me…Alex. I’m one of the sexual wellness educators here at Zillennial. I’m passionate about inclusive and culturally responsive dialogue about sexual wellness. What does that mean? It means that I center you as a whole person and incorporate the impact your specific experiences and culture has on how you view your sexuality. You are a multifaceted person and you deserve an honest and authentic relationship with yourself and those around you. I’m here for any part of your sexuality that you want to explore and connect more with. All of you is enthusiastically welcomed with me.

Curious about my background? I used to work in the entertainment industry, but these days I’m working on my Ph.D. in counseling psychology with an emphasis in sex therapy. I’m also pursuing my sexuality educator certification. For my doctoral work, I’m advised by Dr. Alex Tatum, Ph.D, CST and Bianca Laureano, PhD, MA, CSE, CSES for my sexuality educator work.

In my free time, I love playing around with interior design, spending way too much time on jigsaw puzzles, and centering my own rest and pleasure.

WHO IS TAYLOR?

Hi!

My name is Taylor Spaziani and I am a Zillennial Sexual Wellness Educator. I am passionate about teaching modern day sex ed because of the liberation it brings people. For way too long, we have all been led to believe false sexual myths and narratives about our own bodies and our relationships with others. I aim to break the rigid societal norms around sexuality and gender so I can assist you in finding your most authentic self.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Colorado and I am completing my sexuality educator certification with the Sexual Health Alliance. For sexuality educator work, I am currently supervised by Bianca Laureano, PhD, MA, CSE, CSES. Alongside my work and passion as a sexuality educator, I am also completing my master’s degree in couples and family therapy at the University of Colorado Denver, and hope to specialize in sexuality issues and relationships.

For fun, I like to aquascape my at home aquariums, hang outside with my pets, spend quality time with my loved ones, and rest.

Hi! I’m Theresa, I have a master’s in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and help people heal their relationships with their bodies, food, and movement. I strive to share my insights about the mind-body connection in a relational and accessible way.
